We are coming up on our 10th birthday providing daycare on Lombard Street to our neighbors in the Marina, Pacific Heights, Russian Hill, the Presidio, Cow Hollow and North Beach as well Fisherman’s Wharf. We are planning some events to mark the occasion so keep your eyes peeled for our newsletter and future posts. The Lodge will have its seventh anniversary of providing daycare to our neighbors in Bernal Heights, the Mission, Bayview, Excelsior, Portola, and Glen Park. And of course we have been providing boarding to people all over the city. On Saturday 9/24 the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter will be giving out FREE Disaster Kits and Pet First Aid Kits at the Southeast Community Facility Commission’s 4th Annual Family Health Fair. This event is from 10am-2pm at the Southeast Community Facility Commission, 1800 Oakdale Avenue in San Francisco. The American Red Cross encourages you to “Make a Plan, Build a Kit, and Be Informed”. Fog City Dogs celebrated its 6th anniversary of providing dog daycare and dog boarding at 2280 Shafter Avenue yesterday. The neighborhood has really changed for the better over the years and we like to think we have too. We now offer retail products to help you pamper and care for your pet, and planning to add basic training and full service grooming this year. If you haven’t been by recently, come check us out!
The San Francisco SPCA is pleased to announce a new program for residents of Bayview/Hunter’s Point. The next clinic is going to be on 9/25, the SF/SPCA will operate a Free Mobile DHP Vaccine Clinic on the last Saturday of each month throughout the summer in Bayview Park! Fog City Dogs is proud to promote this free service from the SPCA. As a reminder, DHP is one of the required vaccinations if you want to bring your dog to Fog City Dogs.
