What is Daycare at Fog City Dogs?

The whole point of bringing your dog to daycare is to have fun while socializing with other dogs in an active environment, right?

Well, that’s exactly what we do in a controlled and safe playgroup. After you drop off your dog in the AM, we’ll then take her on an outside, leashed walk in the neighborhood for about a half hour. The rest of the morning, the dogs romp around in playgroups with each other, playing ball, playing with the staff – and just being dogs. In fact, you can peek in on your dog via the playgroup webcam to see how they’re doing.

Later, we take daycare dogs out on their second leashed, neighborhood walk in the early afternoon. After their second outside walk, there’s more playtime. But some of the older and less active dogs may use this time for a quick ‘dog’ nap before being picked up in the late afternoon.

In a typical day of daycare, we aim to provide your dog with a full day of socialization, two outside ‘business’ walks, and all day play for a tired and happy dog. For more information or details about daycare at Fog City Dogs, click here.
