Cali Hawkins is a little tank of a blue-nosed pitbull who greets the world with the biggest, happiest smiles! She loves coming to daycare to spend time with her “teachers”, and if she had the option she would probably bulldoze the door to get in just that much faster! Cali is a bundle of energy, and whether she is wrestling in the play areas or chasing down a toy, she meets every activity with exuberant enthusiasm! Congrats Cali, we can’t wait to see you back in “school”!

Oscar is the Daycare’s May Dog of the Month! Oscar is a stunning Portuguese Water Dog, and with his charming personality and striking good looks he has quickly won over the Fog City Staff. Oscar has lots of pals in the big dog group and loves to romp with them the entire time he is with us. His excitement is unmatched – be it greeting a person, playing with toys, or even just walking into daycare, he clearly has a zest for life that is contagious! True to a Portie, Oscar is intelligent, athletic, bouncy, and a lovely cuddler!

Chica is the Lodge’s Dog of the Month for April! A long, white, scruffy terrier mix, Chica constantly keeps our staff astounded and smiling with her goofy antics and uncanny athleticism, jumping high enough to peek over our 5-foot tall play area doors and running through agility tunnels! She is happy go lucky, full of personality, and in true terrier fashion is not hesitant to be vocal about getting what she wants! A veteran of both the Lodge and the Daycare, we are happy to have Chica as part of our pack – Congrats Chica on being our new Dog of the Month!

Calvin is a fluffy, pampered Bichon Frise and is our Daycare of the Month for April! Affectionately referred to by the staff as “Calvin Cupcake” (deemed so because of his adorable cupcake printed collar!), Calvin has been a member of the Fog City Pack since Fog City was in its infancy! He loves to snuggle up in our staff’s laps or on a ledge, chase the butterflies out on walks, and is always ready to give a little dance for a treat. Recently joined by a new little sister, we expect Calvin to show her the ropes on how to be a loving, sweet, adorable, personality packed little Bichon! Cheers Calvin!

Fog City Dogs opened with our Marina location 10 years ago this month with the dream of providing the best and most affordable doggie care in San Francisco!

Each month, the event will benefit a local rescue group – 50%of the bar proceeds and 100% of the money raised from a silent auction will benefit the group for that month!

Fog City Dogs has donated gift certificates for boarding and doggie daycare to these events! So, not only can you come and enjoy a cocktail with your best furry friend, but you can also bid on some daycare and boarding services to help raise money for some wonderful rescue groups!

Bumi is the Lodge Dog of the Month! One of our newest puppies, Bumi’s happy go lucky Lab exuberance has quickly won the hearts of our staff. She is playful, outgoing, and has an evident zest for life! Bumi loves to explore the world on her walks, wrestle with any dog that can handle her puppy intensity, and curl up on a bed or your lap for a little nap. The Fog City Staff is looking forward to watching Bumi grow up with us, and would like to congratulate her on being our new Dog of the Month!

Meet Mike, our new Daycare Dog of the Month! Mike is a distinguished silver Labrador with an extremely affectionate personality. His curiosity keeps him in the mix of everything. Mike is always up for any activity be it a stroll, some play time, or a quick sun bath! Mike’s soulful yellow eyes exude an intense unconditional love for his human companions. His sweet, easy-going, devoted demeanor has earned him the title of Dog of the Month – congrats Mike!
