Give Us a Call
Fog City Dogs is committed to making dogs happy in their owners’ absence. We aim to meet the needs of dog owners by providing dog daycare, boarding, grooming and training in a fun, safe, and structured environment.
Fog City Dogs hosts Northern California’s premier dog activity centers. With 2 convenient San Francisco locations, we offer dog daycare and overnight stays in an interactive and social setting. Fog City Doggie Daycare has been providing Bay Area pups with fun since 2002. Fog City Dog Lodge opened in 2005 and provides both dog daycare, overnight boarding, and training. Canines come here for supervision, socialization, and playtime and they go home tuckered and happy. Fog City Dogs was one of the first services of its kind in San Francisco as well as in the country. Although there are many dog daycares now, we are still one of very few to offer all day socialization, and playgroups in a controlled yet fun environment - all for one low rate. We also offer webcams in playgroups for customers’ peace of mind. Fog City Dogs offers all of the services your dog needs to stay healthy and safe.
Meet The Staff
Jason founded Fog City Doggie Daycare in 2002 in response to a challenge to find quality care for his own dog while he went to his day job. He wanted to create a service that allowed dogs to romp around and play with each other all day long, spend time on daily strolls outside, and allow their owners the ability to watch their furry friends on playgroup webcams.
Sean joined Jason in 2005 when they both realized there were limited options for overnight care. Together they founded Fog City Dog Lodge. He has thoroughly enjoyed his career change to pet care and went on to get certified in pet care administration by the PCSA. He spends as much time as he can spare at both locations every day visiting our four legged friends.
Melissa joined FCD soon after the opening of Fog City Dog Lodge. Her part time job as a dog walker developed into a passion for getting to know new dogs. She prides herself on knowing all dogs and their owners and developing lasting relationships built on quality care. She has fostered and adopted multiple pets in need and is committed to animal welfare.
Nick joined Fog City Doggie Daycare with years of experience providing grooming and dog daycare services on the East Coast. He provides excellent service to our customers by getting to know every dog and its owner. One of his assets is that he always makes sure dogs get the right level interaction to go home from "school" happy and healthy but deservedly tired. He loves what he does and it shows.
Daniel moved to Fog City Dog Lodge from Southern California working at a dog daycare and kennel there. His experience and can-do attitude quickly earned him a leadership spot in our customer service team. His dog Domino is one of the many friendly faces you'll see in our large dog group. We think you'll find Daniel's care and and concern for you dog to be that of a member of your family.
Max joined the dog care team in 2013. He enjoys his time with dogs and tries to take all that he learns on the job to helping train his own rescued canine friend. Max likes meeting new dogs and making sure that everyone gets a lot of attention and exercise while they are with us.
Logan joined Fog City Dogs in 2013. First a wrangler and then a manager, Logan found the path into animal care via fostering pets in need. Logan has helped numerous dogs find new homes and is looking forward to working with you to help your dog get the best care with us.
Bree started working at Fog City Dogs in 2014. She has experience volunteering with the dogs at the San Francisco SPCA and wanted a job where she could further pursue her passion. She is a student at San Francisco State University majoring in Zoology with hopes of working with animals in the future. She is excited to meet you and work with your dogs!

A Team that Gives Back:
For many years Fog City Dogs has supported dog friendly charities by providing mobile dog daycare services at fundraisers like “Petchitecture” (annual event for PAWS) and the “Run for the Seals” (annual event for the Marine Mammal Center). We also regularly provide daycare and overnight boarding services to such rescue groups as Wonder Dog Rescue and other rescues in need. Furthermore, we have found that by donating services to most community oriented fundraisers, we can help the charities that build strong communities and raise money while growing our own pack. We actively seek out and donate services to silent auctions for elementary schools, community organizations, and local/national charities. By doing this, everybody wins. We also capitalize on the idea that dogs are more open and understanding than most people. So Fog City Dogs has worked with local schools and various city programs to help get disabled people work experience, as well as to help people in state sponsored programs get back on their feet with a paying job. Both programs have provided worthwhile opportunities for the disadvantaged and helped the rest of our staff, many of whom are new to the workforce, learn the value these individuals bring to the table. If you’re group or organization is looking for a sponsor or partner, email us and we’ll consider your request: firstname.lastname@example.org
